Are certain schools harder to get into others in ND?

Or is it equal chance? And if it's harder, by how much?

Because I think I've set my mind to one of two paths - engineering and pharmacy, and I'm leaning towards engineering (electrical, maybe), but is CoE notoriously hard to get into?

You don’t apply to a college, you apply to the University. All freshmen are part of First Year Studies, then as sophomores go into their individual schools. Any student capable of gaining admission to the University is allowed to enroll in any of the colleges.

Haha I actually found that out right before checking this topic again. Thanks.

No problem. Good luck.

^that is always debatable though. i know it is probably easier for a female applying to electrical engineering that any other applicant because ND wants female engineers…they won’t say it, but I think they definitely do look at what you put down. It also helps gauge where you interest lie and judge your extra-curriculars off of that. So if you put down engineering but have not math/science extra curriculars but instead just things like newspaper, then you don’t seem to put much effort into things engineering related which looks suspicious.
