Are CLEP tests a good idea?

<p>Assuming your college accepts them and will count for credit, are they a good idea? Or should I/would you just go through the classes?</p>

<p>Are those classes prerequisites (for instance for your major)? If so, I would take the classes. Otherwise, CLEP could save you money. Are you on fin aid or no?</p>

<p>Great for World Languages (German, French, Spanish). OK for English Composition or other courses that are NOT foundation courses in your major. </p>

<p>Well, any courses that are not in your major where those courses aren’t going to be used to build for more advanced classes that you plan to take.</p>
