Are community college classes counted in your GPA?

If I took two transferable credit courses at my local community college over the past two summers and received an A in both of them, can I calculate that into my GPA that I list on Common App?

I can send colleges a transcript from the community college I took it from, but it won't be listed on my high school transcript. Can I still count it?

Any replies would be really appreciated!!

At my school they are counted on my high school GPA. Ask your counselor about what the case is at your school.

Yes they are. And they should be weighed as AP. If they are core classes many schools will include them on a transcript.

No, your GPA on the common app should be exactly as it appears on your high school transcript.

@seal16‌ please don’t generalize- high schools do GPA so many different ways.
