Do Cornell and MIT have early application processes such as early action or early decision and if so are they binding?

Cornell has ED, if I'm not mistaken. It's binding.

MIT has EA, which isn't binding.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Correctamundo.

Sweet, thanks neethus1. I should know Cornell, a friend of mine just got in. Whoops.

And MIT's EA is neither binding nor restrictive -- you can apply to any other schools early which also have nonrestrictive EA policies.

MIT EA is nonbinding completely free of any obligation, just that you get your decision letter earlier.

Cornell has the ED, which is binding.

Both deadlines have passed for 09-10 academic year.
