are courses first come first serve during orientation?

<p>i have a 3-course schedule set up for the fall of 09 that i looked into pretty closely, and id be bummed if it would not work out.</p>

<p>during orientation, if i noe absolutely waht i want, can i suggest the schdeule and get into the courses that i wannt for the term without worries?</p>

<p>Yes, courses are available on a first come first served basis. Once a class reaches the cap, you mayhave to contact the professor for an override.</p>

<p>oh thanks! one more thing. during orientation i know that we pick clsases for the fall quarter, but do we also plan out other quarters or even the rest of the year? I see some fall classes filled up already and the summer term hasnt even started so i was just wondering. tahnks!</p>

<p>You pick winter courses during the fall term, spring courses during the winter term. They open up registration, you simply go to your computer and register for classes. When registration opens everyone registers at the same time (there is not order such as seniors, juniors, etc). However there are some classes where the priorty is given to senior majors, then trickle down.</p>
