I read this on the U of Chicago website:
- Early Action applicants - We mailed decisions on December 15. Please remember, we do not give out decisions on the website, by e-mail, or on the phone. Patience is a virtue!
Now that it's still the 14th, have they really sent the decisions? How much longer do we have to wait?
Best of luck to all of you!

Holy god...we may get our admission tommorrow or day after tommorrow. They "mailed" them & probably forgot to change the date.

Their 1st message:

chicagonobel, are you coked up? Just curious... ;)

no he's just OCD about Chicago.... :P

haha, indy...

yes, I am Obsessively-Compulsively Disordered about Chicago! Image my discontent face if i get a rejection or deferred...gives a whole new meaning to winter of our discontent.

If you think you'll get in, and I think you will too, why are you filling out sooo many other apps?

My parents want me to.

awww sorry! im just saving mine till after... WHEN i get in (wishful/hopeful thinking) i wont have wasted my time!

haha "wated...." filling out applications is the best part...It liquifies your brain, mortifies the eyes & most importantly prepares you for fear factor...

just curious... are the decisions sent via regular mail or UPS?

I think they're sent by regular mail

Hopefully some of us will receive the letters on Thursday, and Friday for the rest. Waiting 'til Monday is totally unacceptable.

yeah, i heard that they were sent on tues

can you tell us the source, qwert....just don't want to raise my hopes up.

My dad called earlier today and they confirmed that letters were mailed yesterday (Tuesday).

thanks man.

How long do they take to reach intls (specifically Canada)? I doubt they're sent out by regular mail--that would take a week at the least.

jp, looks like we're on the same boat :D

Still no letter in my mailbox. Sorry to resort to such a crude word, but this is gay.

yeah briney... i got nothin and i live 30 minutes from the danged place. i'd rather drive out there and get it.
