Are Decisions really coming out today?

I really don't think so. I remember last year that Stanford actually announced they were releasing decisions on the last Friday of March. They have said no such thing this year. And would they really just email decisions randomly without an official announcement?

They did for the SCEA’ers.

I would bet 20 bucks on them releasing decisions within the next 7-8 hours.

AAAAHHH.

o.o

I love Stanford University! !!!

Admission Decision Update
March 17, 2009

We expect that admission decisions will be emailed after 5pm (Pacific Time) on April 1. Decisions for applicants who have applied for freshman admission will be emailed. Decisions will not be available on any Stanford Web site, nor will they be released over the phone. Students who do not receive their decision by email, may call the Office of Undergraduate Admission only after April 6 to get their decision over the phone. Decisions are only provided to students and not to parents or any other relatives.

Transfer admission decisions will be sent by email on May 15 after 5pm (Pacific Time).

I doult the decision comes out today.

As many people have said, colleges post things like that to ensure that they get everything out by that date…in many cases, they are released considerably before the given date. I wouldn’t take that message literally.

I did not know that. I guess they will come out today. I’m nervous now.

Remember the year MIT printed their rejection letters upside down? THAT’S MEAN! I wonder what Stanford will do to me… <_<

D got MIT EA and she plans to go. MIT is her 1st choice.

she seems not care about Stanford’s decision. But, as a parent, I still want to check out if Stanford’s finaid is better if she gets in.

Stanford’s finaid was better than MIT for me. It depends on your situation, but Stanford does more for middle income.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up for decisions today, but I wouldn’t be surprised either.

Think of it this way: if it doesn’t come out today, then you can have fun and enjoy your weekend and not have to worry about it until you get back.

thanks, logical,

we are middle income family and little disappointed at MIT’s finaid package. we’ll see how much better stanford can offer if she gets in. conguratutions for getting in two great schools.

I want a good weekend too. There is a chance Stanford may release, so be mentally prepared.
