Are EC's really that important?

<p>Are Ec's really that important? Like on college applications is there like a half a page for your EC's and adcoms just skip over it or is it actually a big part of the application? Please Reply to This. Thanks!!!</p>

<p>I think if you have a lot ... it looks bad</p>

<p>If you have like a few, but aren't like regular ECs it is GOOD</p>

<p>no one has been admitted solely based on their grades / SAT but there are several who have been admitted solely because of a particluar EC that they showed passion in.</p>
