Just curious.

You’ll fit right in.

Hahahahaha, lol

Son is an engineer there and is not a nerd, geek, or loser. There are all kinds of people there, even in engineering.

Dear OP: by whom? and who cares?

by the popular kids…obviously

hahahaha

I’m an engineering girl, which would automatically label me as one of the above. But, in no way, am I. Yeah, I have my nerdy qualities, but am I viewed as a social reject by kids outside of engineering? Def not. Some of your best buds in college will be in your major with you anyways, and they’ll be just as “nerdy” as you, so they don’t count.
Now, are there going to be some serious nerds? Yes. But they sort of make themselves take on that label, and it’s not like it’s a bad thing either.
Frankly, I think engineering kids are cool. We’re smart, pretty bada$$ since we’re worked to death 99.9% of the time, and can still have fun (engineering keg kills anyone?), some of us are lookers, some of us are in the ‘bigger’ frats/sororities, and we all, for the most part, shower daily.
