Very good points.

In Ohio, at least, you can take a full year of “high school” in a dual enrollement program. I assume the same is true for your location, as well, but correct me if I’m wrong. In my area, this tactic is really pretty common, with many students never touching their HS and graduating with 40+ college credits. Some even earn their associates degree while participating. If you’re in Utah now, and it’s not too far away, try and convince your dad to let you participate in a year of dual enrollment at U Utah while in HS if you can, or a comparable university near you. This will give you (and your dad) a feel for the next four years - FOR FREE!!!

Good Luck!!!
