Hello, I recently finished Princeton Review's prep book. I am planning to study from Gruber's SAT prep book and workbooks. I heard that gruber's is good in qualities overall and especially in strategies. Do you recommend?

No. Stick with PR and BB. If you need more practice, try maybe Barron’s (which are extra hard) or previously administered SATs.

Horrible practice test. I dumped the book without mercy. If you’re weak at math, Gruber may help by offering a lot of drill

Yeah, in general, they’re not that great. The only exception is Gruber’s Math, which is by far one of the best math SAT books out there.

Gruber’s math was close to worthless for me. If you’re doing well in math in school, then there’s no need for the math prep book.

As someone who’s pretty bad at math, I didn’t really benefit from Gruber’s math prep book. I mean, I thought it was good until I tried Barron’s, which was infinitely more helpful.

I have both. Which is better? Barron’s or Gruber’s? And why?

How about Gryber’s SAT strategies and tips (also Reading Passages and explanations)??
