Are IB classes underwieghted?

If sl is just as good as AP i cant wait to do it when I reach stateside

Well, in terms of colleges

SL < AP

AP ~ HL

but that's not how it works out.. colleges need to recognize HL as more credit than AP (2 years of work vs. 1! Isn't it obvious?)

what about difficulty. In my hl physics class our teacher sometimes gives us ap questions that are relatively straightforward.

anyone who considers Ib sl/ hl classes as easy as ap classes is crazy..

or atleast that isn't the case at my high school, I could go into an ap class fall asleep and still get an A, i do that in an ib class they'll kick me out of the program within a week. In my school ap classes are a joke everyone takes them for the easy A and then just fail the test.

IB classes do a lot less than the AP kids at my school. And the AP tests are harder...

I share an IB HL Spanish class with my AP Spanish lit class, and their work is pathetic compared to the AP Spanish lang exam we all took last year.

I'm sorrry, but IB in my school is a joke..really sad..their math is AP AB level..

Boxes, that's probably because they're taking Math at the Standard Level

And what I've found out recently is that schools like Harvard will ONLY accepts 7's from higher level classes, which is complete BULL - Its so much easier to make a 5 on AP exams (where the cutoff is around 60-70%) while on IB exams the cutoff for a 7 is higher. They need to at least accept 6's. Grr..

you only need a 60-70% to get a 5 in AP clac?

yeah, it's probably closer to 60% actually

SL exams are a bit of a joke...

HL exams are definitely not.

School in beijing I attend. Only IB's. NO Ap's/ =/
