I am having a nervous breakdown because I just finished two of my board papers- English and physics and I most probably will be getting 65s in both (Maharashtra HSC) which are similar to my class 11 scores.
Do these scores merit a rescind from colleges- particularly UW Madison where I have already paid my enrollment deposit?

If it is the same as Class 11, and not any worse, I do not see the possibility of admission being rescinded. Solely because you were accepted on the basis of Class 11 scores.

@anialways- thank you! But is UW really known for rescinding, or is it one of the more lenient schools?

@Anialways-Even I have this problem. My projected score for class 12 is around 85% but due to the time spent on the applications and dreaming about the US the whole time I haven’t been studying that much lately. I am pretty sure I will be getting something around 75%-80%. Will my acceptance be rescinded?
(P.S-I already got admitted to Iowa State University)

@natsu96 lol. same here. dreaming about US. From what I gathered, competition to UW or Iowa isn’t too much, so they let it pass as long as you pass.

most uni’s wont rescind you for a 80, maybe a 70 but usually universities dont like rescinding acceptances

The subjects would matter too, if your score drop. So for an Engineering program a language or a humanities score drop would not matter so much. Having said that, I would also think that it should not be a huge drop in subjects that matter or are related to the program that you have applied for…and by that it would mean Class 11 A/90 percent should worry you a little if it drops below 80 in Class12. And it should be a cause more worry if it drops from 90 to 70. And below 70 from 90 …hmmmm…

another one here , my mid year scores were 89 % , and I may drop below 90 , given the way my physics paper went shall I be rescinded ?
