Are liberal arts school looked down upon?

Honestly, students at Williams, Amherst, Pomona, etc. are, on average, more sophisticated than your typical schmoe aiming to get into an ivy.

^ But are they more sophisticated than those who not only aimed to get in to an Ivy, but also succeeded? ;)

“If I get resumes from graduates of Bowdoin, Williams, Davidson, Carleton, etc., I’m much more likely to call them in for an interview than I am graduates of Syracuse, Boston University, UNC, Penn State, etc…”

The point of this post was to try to say that LACs are good, but is anyone else insulted that he’s comparing some of the top ten ten LACs to a bunch of unis that dont even make the top thirty on their own list (minus UNC)?

Mmmm… depends on which ones they got into.

Yeah. It goes without saying that the graduates of those LACs are the more attractive candidates.
