Dusregarding my extra-curriculars, do you think my class schedule is rigorous enough? And do my grades meet the ideal student of one of the ivy leagues. I have many extra-curriculars, if you want to see them I can list them if you want.
I think you know this is rigorous enough. This sounds suspiciously like a chance me thread, so move to,that forum please.
Being sarcastic and saying no may be a death knell, so I will say focus on your application because if you’re obsessing over the rigor, you’re probably weak in other areas.
This sounds like a humblebrag.
All IB students are, by default, in the 'most rigorous" category.
And do your grades meet Top 25/Ivy standards? NO, you should have that unknown-letter above A in all classes!
What exactly are you asking?
First, stop focusing on the Ivy League. Regardless of grades, it’s such a crapshoot that you can’t expect more than 5% odds. Second, the time wasted on focusing on the Ivy league is time wasted for the more important task of finding matches and safeties. Finding dream colleges is easy… now look for matches (acceptance rate 30%+) and safeties.
Then, run the Net Price Calculator on two reaches, two safeties, and 2-3 matches. Show the results to your parents. What is affordable?
Finally, register and take the AP test that corresponds to your SLs because US colleges don’t give credit to SL tests whereas they do for the corresponding AP.
