So I have:
President of chess club
Camp counselor
Computer science internship
Cashier during Christmas
Tutored math for elementary schoolers
Gymnastics for 3 years. (Outside
School)
I feel like nothing stands out too much about my Ecs. I’m applying for UCI,
UCR, Caltech and Uc Davis.
You won’t get in to Caltech with those EC’s. I don’t know much about the others.
I believe your EC’s are fine for UCD/UCI/UCR. You do show leadership with Chess club and the internship helps. Caltech is a different story in which I agree with the above poster^^^^. Good Luck.
For UCs, they will be fine - as long as you have the stats.
For CalTech, You need to tell a story that’s going to set you apart from a large stack of over-achievers. your internship and camp counseling could set you apart, hard to know from what you’ve posted.
