Are my EC's too weak??

-Class Rank= 4 out of 300
-31 ACT (31 S, 31 R, 29 E, 33 M, 9 E=28 w/ writng)
- I dance for ~8 hrs per week (this is my 15th year) and I have been teaching a dance class for 1hr per week since I was a frosh
- I'm in NHS, Spanish Club, Latin Club (leadership postiton)
-I have won numerous awards through my school (highest average in latin grades 9-11)
-I live in suburban MA</p>

<p>Your ECs could be better, but they should be fine. The commitment you’ve made to dance will look very good.</p>

<p>I think you are in at all with the possible exception of BC. I’ll be surprised if you don’t get accepted to your top choice- Colgate. Your class rank makes up for less than spectacular EC’s. Good luck.</p>

<p>Well, your ECs aren’t necessarily bad. They’re just not stellar. I’d say they’re somewhat strong, but could be stronger.</p>

<p>Your ECs alongside a low GPA and class rank wouldn’t look very good, but they look plenty good for admission to the schools you’ve listed since they’re placed alongside an otherwise strong application.</p>

<p>Admissions officers consider the application as a whole, so any strong parts will make the whole application look a bit better.</p>

I think she has a good chance at all the schools she listed.</p>

<p>I think her EC’s are fine for all of those schools, especially in the context of her academic record. Eight hours a week dancing is a big time investment in one activity. Teaching deepens the interest level. Some achievements in dance would be nice, as would a fit into a campus dance program of some sort.</p>
