Are my extracurriculars good for freshman year?

I want to go to Stanford university I was wondering if my extracurriculars for next year is a good start.
Robotics club
Key club
Volunteering at my local hospital
Track? (Couldn’t do it this year due to back surgery and pain so not sure)
Trying to find a internship not sure if this is possible at my age since I live in such a small town
Shadowing a neurologist (also may not be possible at the moment)
I want to be a neuroscientist or neurologist, I haven’t decided yet. I know this is fine because I still have years until college!
I am actually very passionate about this stuff not just doing it for my college application. I know it’s not very many but quality over quantity! I want to conduct research at a local college but again I live in a very small town and not sure if this is even possible. So far I am a A student (obviously that could change in high school) but I’d just like to know if you think these are good extracurriculars for a freshman? I would be really interested in joining a science club but my school doesn’t have one, maybe I’ll try to start one!

Question: do you love your ECs?

If the answer is yes, you’re fine. If the answer is no, drop everything you’re doing to “get into Stanford” and focus on stuff that actually interests you.

Yes I love my extracurriculars! I love robotics, science, and math!

It is way too early to think about specific colleges (especially the hyper-competitive ones). You don’t even have one full year’s GPA and you have no standardized testing. HS should be an experience in and of itself – a time of learning and growth and not just a 4 year college application prep experience.

It is very good to take school seriously and know that college will be on your horizon, but it is too early to start planning for specific colleges. I would highly recommend that you get off of CC until your junior year.

For now you should focus on:
–Working hard, learning, and doing as well as you can in the most challenging curriculum you can manage.
–When the time comes study for standardized tests.
–Continue your involvement in activities you care about and work towards making meaningful contributions to those activities.
–Enjoying spending time with your family and friends.
