are my grades ok?

my school doesnt do avgs out of 4.0 but rather out of 100
i have a 99 weighted avg and probably around 95 unweighted
sat 1: 2150 - 690-m 710- cr 750- w
sat 2: bio 720 chem 720

are these grades good enough for a new yorker trying to get into usc....is it at all possible to get any type of scholarship with these stats or no chance?

I never understood that grading scale. Anyone know how to translate it to a 4.0 scale?

They seem good enough for acceptance. As for scholarships, they seem to be as much based on the apps as the numbers, so write a good essay and show enthusiasm for SC throughout your app.

translate to a 4.0 scale is like this

3.7 to a 4.0 is basically in the 90's or A's

or it could be 3.5-4.0 I'm not sure.

that's how it sorta works.

in terms of hs grades and gpa's, 90-100 is 4.0
sounds like you have great grades, test scores are fairly good too- though you might think about taking the SAT I again and really focusing on improving your math score, since USC superscores (takes the highest # from each of the 3 categories, even if they are from different sittings, and adds them) for the sat I.

i wouldnt be surprised if you get an invitation to interview for a scholarship.
