Junior year I got a 5.0 (weighted) first semester and a 4.83 second semester. This senior year I am taking 5 classes at school (4 out of 5 are AP) and one class at my local community college (either Intro to Business or African-American History or Psychology.) Also, i got a 1760 on the SAT and 27 on the ACT.

You’re good. Apply to the Honors College too - not necessary, as all classes at Spelman are small, but still nice perks nevertheless (early registration, nicer freshman dorm).

I was in the honors program at Spelman and personally, I don’t feel like it was worth it. Because the school is so small earlier registration isn’t that huge of a perk; I never really had a problem getting into the classes I wanted to. The nicer freshman dorm is probably the biggest perk. It’s quite nicer than the other three freshman dorms; the biggest difference is probably air-conditioning, which will mean something to you in August through October and April through May. But I actually didn’t want to live in the honors dorm - I specified another dorm on my housing list despite being in the honors program and they overrode my request and stuck me there, lol. (I ended up making really close friends with the ladies on my hall and in my dorm. We’re still friends now, although not close.)

Anyway, you’re totally fine.
