Are my Safeties/Matches/Reaches correctly categorized?

Hello,
I just wanted a few opinions on my college list and whether I was aiming in the right area. Thanks!

Safety:
University of Mary Washington
Juanita or Sweet Briar

Match:
College of the Holy Cross or Smith
Bryn Mawr
University of Maryland-College Park (somebody told me, this was a reach?)

Reach:
Bates College (also considering Middlebury but would that be too high of a reach?)
GW Scholarship Program (obviously can't chance me for this)

GPA: 3.95 (UW)
By end of senior year will have: 5 AP and 2-3 college course at a pretty highly regarded university
AP Scores:
AP US- 5, AP Art History-5, AP Language- 4
SAT: 1900 (I am going to try the ACT)
SAT II: US History- 790, Lit.- 700, (take more later...)
Type of School: I attend a school that is part of the worst public school system in the nation, but my own school sends its top grads to good schools (is this bad for admissions?)
Rank: 3 out of 111
Interests: English, maybe minor in a language
State Residency: Not in-state for any of the schools mentioned

-work experience at a public library
-lacrosse camp
-theatre classes/camps
-volunteer work at museum and non-profit
Planned for 12th grade:

Awards:
AP Scholar, Honor Roll
Thanks for any responses!

i think they are all safeties and matches!!!

I don’t know much about most of the colleges on your list but I would say Bryn Mawr should be around the same as Bates.

I agree with your safeties caetgorization and think that the rest are all quite reasonable matches given your stats.
Middlebury is SAT optional and so definitely achievable.

Thanks for all responses! Okay, I just want to be clear about your view of my chances. I was counting Bates as a reach because it has a 30% acceptance rate compared with the women’s colleges of about 45% acceptance rates. Does anybody have any recommendation for reaches? I really appreciate it, thanks

Wellesley College in Massachusetts would probably make a good reach. It’s a women’s college and has a 36% acceptant rate

If you can raise the scores a bit, Bowdoin and Colby are good reaches.
