Are my SAT II Scores Good?

Are my SAT II scores decent so far??

Math IC = 740
Math IIC = 790
Bio M = 670
Chem = 710
US Hist = 660

For schools that only require 2, I'd say your fine.

For schools that require 3, I'd say to try to bump the 3rd score up to a 700.

Remember, you won't be able to include Math IC & IIC.

PS Did you get scores already for May? I didn't get mine & some people seemed to have gotten theres.

Depends on where you're looking at - if you want to go to an Ivy or other top-tier school, you probably want to bump up a few of the scores. Generally, I think that it's good to take advantage of the fact that SAT IIs are much more "studiable" than SATs, and earn the highest scores possible.

For instance, chemistry (the only one of the three non-math tests you have that I've also taken) is a test with a relatively limited scope: you could make a study plan where you "master" a new part of the test material each week, and I think that by the end of the summer you could get an 800.

Remember, you won't be able to include Math IC & IIC.

Why do you say this. I have seen no such qualification on the admissions web-sites that I have investigated. Please post a reference. Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm studying for Math IIC, should I first get Math IC?

Most schools will accept both maths. Stanford will not and the UCs will not take IC. Granted, it is better to have 2 or 3 separate subjects. However, I checked with several schools and they just say ANY two (or three) subject tests.

yeah for MIT they say one math, one science and one of your choosing so i took math IIC, biology M (both 800), and then for my choice i took math IC

not a smart idea since math1c is repetitive.

Are scores in the range of 650-700 bad?
Will they give me good placement and amaze the adcoms?

Personally if its any Subject test i think that u should score 700+ on them. Frankly because you can study for them, and its mostly content based. Then again it depends on which subject ur talkin about
