Fall after graduating high school I attended SFSU. Having another sibling in a much more expensive college my single parent funded money to his college (which I’m not blaming because I stayed in state so we though it wasn’t going to be as expensive) leaving me with little money. As I started reaching about November I received a letter saying my financial aid didnt cover all my housing tuition and if I dont pay by next month ill be kicked out of the school. I got 2 jobs and struggled to go to school and pay which resulted in my horrific first semester. 3 C’s a D and an F. I know its bad but keep in mind that these were all A’s before I got my jobs. I couldnt enroll for spring because of my holds but they emailed me saying theyll make an acception and help me out finacially. A month into the semester I withdrew because I had to raise my loans and I saw no point in failing classes I wasnt even attending to go to my jobs so I can be at the school.
I am now at community college, living at home with straight A’s and hopefully applying to UCs in the fall but im scared theyll reject me because i technically cant retake C’s. What’s my outlook?
