Composite 33

wka1121,
They have not received/posted all of the scores yet. I know this because I called them about mine and they said mine were not scored yet. They only put scores in once week, so the next time to check is next Wednesday. I was really mad when they told me that.

Well, I finally broke down and payed the $8! I can't say I'm too happy though...
I got a 33 composite, with my breakdown being:
35 english
34 math
28 reading
36 science
I don't know how that happened!! Last time I got a 33 as well, only I had a 28 science and 36 reading! Very weird... although I knew all along that my reading was going to be my worst all along. I just thought I'd have probably 31-34 on that...
The thing that really gets me though, is that if I had gotten one more point on one of the tests, I would have had a 34! I think ACT should let you combine the scores from more than one test, or else not round... just give the decimal number!

And so, the ACT corporation suckers another one out of $8. . .

ACT Composite: 32
English: 34
Math: 32
Reading: 34 (wow. . .didn't expect that high)
Science: 27 (wow. . .didn't expect that low)

Interesting. . .especially since science and math are my best subjects. Oh well. Not to shabby, I think. . .especially since I'm horrible at standardized tests.

okay, i applied ED to wash. u., and i sent my latest act score, but it ended up being lower than my last score (29 compared to 31). I could either pay 17 bucks tonight for them to send my old score to wash. u. (rushed) because its due Monday, or i could let them just have the new score and see on my official transcript that i received a higher score before. On the wash. u. website, it says they will accept scores on an official transcript, but prefer them to be sent directly from ACT. Do you think this means i need to rush them or just let them deal with it? (They are receiving my SAT scores, too.)
Thanks guys

Send your highest scores.

34 Composite.
33 English, 34 Math, 36 Reading, 31 Science.

I remember last year when I couldn't wait any longer and bought the online score ($8) ... the next day the results came in.
I'm just gonna wait out this time

got the paper results in the mail today. haha.

Where do you live, madd?

Is it harder to get a 36 composite on the act or a 1600 on the SAT 1? Just wondering.

36 since u can miss only like 3 questions, whereas for SAT you can miss...more.

thats wrong....for the SAT i took, an 800 was LESS than 3 wrong....3 wrong was a 780 (what i got)....and i got a perfect at math....so, i only got 3 qs wrong and didnt get a perfect score (not that im complaining lol), but im just saying that the 1600 is just as tough as the 36

For class of 04, there were 224 36s on the ACT (99.98th percentile) and 939 1600s on the SAT (99.93rd percentile). So, there is a difference of .05 percentile.

I think it's so funny that you guys all paid to see the test scores :D
Last time I paid to see them, my scores came in the mail a few days later. So this time I didn't pay online and actually got my results in the mail yesterday (11/12/2004)

English: 27
Math: 34
Reading: 30
Science: 32 (not sure how I pulled this off, I thought it was terribly difficult)

Composite: 31

I got a 30 the first time I took it so I guess I'm happy. I like the ACT a lot more than the SATs...I'm scoring way higher than I ever did on the SAT and without any prep too :)

yay finally got my scores
ACT 34
english 28 (what the hell??)
Math 35
Reading 36
Science 36

yeah. i hate my english score... i took the test 4 times and got scores of 31, 29, 33, and 28. Do u guys kno if schools take ur best subscores, or just ur best composite??

Alex, I was wondering the same thing about subscores, but I can't seem to find a concrete answer...

34.25.... :( :( :( what would that be for percentile?

Just a 34...99.7th percentile.
