Is UT Austin saving all the rejections to the end? MyStatus still says that my application is in review, and I'm nervous that since I haven't received an acceptance, they'll reject me later.

Yes, rejections will go out last.

I heard that some rejections have already been sent.

Really from who where

They have already sent out rejections for OOS applicants, according to a number of individuals who have ties to the admissions dept.

One person from my school received his rejection letter already.

@135pipe I heard through someone who heard from an admissions counselor. For those who were rejected, did they find out online or by mail?

Oh my I feel bad for them. Scared too. Yea was it online or mail

Okay, I keep getting mixed signals from different threads - some people are affirming that both rejections and acceptances will be going out soon (no later than March 1st), and others are saying that all rejections are out. Does anybody really know anything? and if so can you verify the information? thanks!

I seriously doubt that all rejections are out.

I agree with @kldat. I would imagine the bulk of decisions have yet to be released. Admissions told us March 1 was the deadline but they typically are able to release them 7-10 days prior. I’m guessing middle to late next week.

@Understated I heard through someone who heard from an admissions counselor that their are at least two more admission decisions waves to go out in mid-late February, and that some, but not all, rejections have been released. I think the only thing we know for certain is that by March 1 decisions and rejections will all be released. I think until then random amounts of people will find out

Sounds about on par with what I would expect
