i like preppy fashion, but the attitude

I also have to say, I have yet to see a person at Princeton with a hair color other than brown, blond, black, or red.

I think the preppy conservative image associated with Princeton is definitely not completely true, but has not been totally dispelled because the students enjoy perpetuating the stereotype to people outside of the university. The tradition of the eating clubs, coupled with events like Lawnparties and Houseparties, as well as the suburban setting all contribute to the general feeling that Princeton is conservative, when that is really not the case.

The beauty of Princeton is the combination of elegance, graciousness, civility, with inspirational architecture and progressive thinking. Global awareness and activism can emanate from the pastoral locale as easily as a gritty, urban backdrop.

the style is no different than at any school.. go to state schools, a lot of frats are starting to dress preppier

the only difference from pton i notice is that people judge clothing here quite a bit... don't let it bother you though, since it won't matter at the end of the day

princetoners? princeton people? peopel who go to princeton? haha..i have no clue.

....Princetonians:).
