<p>Most mainstream schools have students hanging out with people of their own kind, which really bothers me. I would think a school with a small community such as tcnj would have people more open to other races since everyone is not as spread out as bigger colleges are.</p>
<p>I have friends from a wide variety of races and backgrounds. But it also depends on what your major is. I’ve noticed there seems to be more diversity in the sciences than in other majors, although I don’t really know about them too much I guess. I’m a double major in Biology and Physics… so I can speak to what I see. </p>
<p>It isn’t like high school though. You hang out with pretty much anyone you have common interests with, unless you’re prick and can’t get over that phase of life. haha. There are clubs for races… but it’s never entered my mind once what race my friends are.</p>
