or vice versa

yes and yes

once u get into those FB groups, u get them every day

Yeah...It's so weird, especially since the schools I want to go to are so big, I'll probably never meet any of those people anyway. I just ignore for now.

hahaha, i can't wait for this this time next year :D

Yep... it's kind of weird because I don't even know if I want to go to that college...

only the 2 people that I met at the prospie open house day-- I'm not in any groups b/c I have no idea where I'll end up!

They're adding me, I haven't added anyone yet.

Why would you add random people from that college?

^Why not?
I talk to all the people I add.
I've even found my future roommate that way. I'd rather go in having a few people to talk to than go in knowing nobody.

I don't see anything wrong with adding random people on facebook.

i have, and i've been chatting with them. they'll be my classmates next year, so why not?

i originally joined the pitt 2013 group b/c it was the first school i got into, and all these random people added me...i put them into a separate "friend list" and deleted all of them when i heard back from my ED school. i don't need to have 29348724937 friends who i'll never talk to or even meet in real life.

The most random person I've added on facebook was a (then) high school basketball star who had committed to UCLA. He didn't accept me.

yeah they do. But people say it makes it weird once u actually meet the person, because its like u know who they are but u dont know them all.

As soon as people joined the official group created by the University itself, everyone started adding each other.
