<p>Not the ones that were already administered in past years. You know the ones I'm talking about...right? The ones that are given in the "Official Guide to the PSAT" that your guidance counselor gives you. </p>
<p>Are those significantly easier than the real thing, in your opinion? I've found the last year's practice test, I scored significantly higher than the actual thing (close to 15 points higher). I just took a practice test and found that I got a near perfect score (-1 for writing), but I'm not sure whether or not to trust it. Are these practice tests consistently easier than the real thing, or was it just that way last year?</p>
<p>The practice test given in the Official guide is an old PSAT test. My daughter has a bunch of PSAT from college board. If you write the first question I can find which previous test it’s from.</p>

<p>I thought it was all right, I just took it and got 221 instead of the normal 230+.</p>

<p>oh…i didn’t even realize there was a scoring chart at the back. So this MUST mean that it was a valid test…at least as far as I can tell. Well, the harsh Writing curve does seem reasonable enough, since the writing part was fairly easy. Guess that is good enough of an answer for me.</p>
<p>We have five of the PSAT’s but not that one. We have Wed. and Sat. from 06 and 08 and Saturday 07. Last year’s student guide was the Wednesday 06 test.</p>
