Are practice tests accurate?

I've taken two C2 practice tests recently, and they use past college board tests, so they aren't just made up by a random testing agency. I got a 2240 on one and a 2200 on the next. How accurate are these? Should I expect at least a 2150 on the October SAT?

they’re accurate, but you never really know with them. You take practice tests in the comfort of your own home, with little test anxiety. How people respond on actual test day varies. Some people freak out and do way worse than they did on practice tests. Others do the same or even better, and others (most people) do slightly worse on the actual test than during practice tests because of nervousness (and tiredness). If you’re a person who doesn’t get too nervous taking the SAt, then a 2150 sounds about right. You should definitely take more practice tests though.
