Are publications considered Academic Honors?

<p>I got some things published (specifically a poem and an essay) in one of those competitions where you submit your work and a judging panel chooses which ones to publish in a sort of anthology.</p>

<p>Would I put this under academic honors?
If not, then where?</p>
