Are sections weighted more on ACT?

Hey,
So I got a 32 composite on my ACT because the Reading section is dragging me down..
The breakdown: 34 E, 34 M, 26 R, 33 S.

My question: do colleges, specifically the elite colleges, look at each subsection and weight each part differently? For example, do they see Math and English as more important than Reading and Science?

I ask because most colleges publish only English and Math ACT score averages, along with the composite. I've never seen them publish reading or science.

The CDS doesnt have a place for the other scores, thats why you dont see it. Im not sure why they did that or why they they focused on english (expressive) while the traditional SAT focus was verbal (reading).

Anyway colleges look at all your scores and your reading will hurt you for most competitive. That being said 32 is a fine composite and the math score will be looked at if you are pursuing STEM majors. Scholarships will look mostly at composite. GL.
