Are some SAT essay questions too extreme?

I am in the middle of preparing my essay examples. I initially aimed for 20 examples, but as I read through the list of essay question, my collection has reached 28, and will still increase at this rate.

My problem is, some questions appear too extreme to me. That is, they contain words like ('always', 'all', ...) and I can only answer either 'yes' or 'no', but not both. This is quite annoying, since SAT topics are usually controversial. College board should go for more open questions, so that testtakers, irrespective of their opinions, can do their best.

Specifically, as I look at the Tradition category, I encouter 2 questions:
1) • Do all established traditions deserve to remain in existence?
2) • Should people always prefer new things, ideas, or values to those of the past?

Saying 'yes' to the first question is tough, as the 'all established traditions' is hard to deal with. The same goes for the second question. But these 2 questions are antithesises. So basically I have to prepare at least 4 examples to answer the 'should we maintain tradition' type of question.

Is there any way that, with 2 examples saying 'no' to question 1), I can also deal with question 2?

Thank you.

P/S: Personally I prefer this kind of question: 'Is the world changing for the better?' It is uncommon, but both 'yes' and 'no' can be supported perfectly, which is much better. For 'yes', you have all the latest technology inventions. For 'no', you have global warming, Boston bombing, death of Osama Binladen, ...
