I mean, like I've heard that its pretty much just a bunch of rich kids and stuff with expensive cars. Just wondering how true this stereotype is...

Snobs no, there are snobs at any school.

Asians yes.

A) to the best of my knowledge, there is not a college that is entirely or even mostly snobs
B) UCI is a college
C) therefor, to the best of my knowledge, UCI is not mostly snobs

I need to take a break from my philosophy reading

That isn’t true at all among the students, we are poor. But the non-students who live in the area (older people & families in Irvine, Newport Beach, etc.) are quite rich.

Asians yes, we have many of those.

Actually, there ARE a lot of really wealthy students attending UCI. There are always nice cars parked in the (very expensive) student parking lots. However, being wealthy does not make one a snob…

I do not think of UCI or any UC as a the “rich kid” school at all. Doesn’t mean there aren’t some wealthy kids everywhere, but nice car could just mean big loan. USC, Pepperdine, LMU, USD, well that’s another story…
