When my son applies to college in the near future he will have the option of sending transcripts from our local university where he took summer classes with other college students. Unfortunately, after dealing with illness and bad decisions from the college’s administration (which I’m sure the colleges don’t care about), my son received grades which would, in our opinion, hurt his chances of getting admitted into his colleges of choice. I have heard from friends that you must submit transcripts from anywhere you have taken classes. Is this true, or can we simply choose to self report the college classes like you can with AP exams (this would mean not telling the colleges about his summer classes)?
You must provide all academic transcripts from high schools and college. Failure to do so can result in automatic denial, rescinded admission, or even revoked degree if they find out after you graduate.
and in case you’re thinking “the heck with the rules, we won’t tell them” there is a national database (National Student Clearinghouse) that tracks college attendance. They will catch him.
Yes, you must.
Yes, he has to.
@intparent I like the new picture.
Thank you, it is D1’s piggy.
