Are Subject Tests required for admission?

I was just wondering if they were required (I am applying for SCS), as on the website it says, “Applicants won’t be penalized if the cost of taking the SAT Subject Tests causes financial hardship.” So if I didn’t take the subject tests, would I have to prove financial hardship, or will it not matter?

You will not have to provide hardship, but it might be apparent in reading your application.

If you have the means to take subject tests, it’s encouraged that you do so.

Take the Subject Tests.
