<p>Seeing as students' particular, quirky passions are often big game-changers over the less "human" numbers on applications, it's clearly important to show them somewhere. But after writing the common app/general essay, are supplemental essays a viable place to discuss passions?</p>
<p>Also, since top schools' preferences vary (i.e. Harvard likes leadership, Stanford likes creativity IIRC), are college-specific supplements a good place to show (implicitly or explicitly) how your passions relate to that particular college? Thanks.</p>
