Are teachers allowed to do this?

I am so upset and for this i blame it on my calculus teacher. She is such a *****.
Here's what happened: We had to do about 10 graphing problems today in class. I didn't do the homework because I crammed in a 7 page english paper. Normally, my teacher doesn't check homework. When she found out after looking through my notebook, she was ANGRY! She told me to sit down and do all the problems. I did them. At the end of class, she gave us three more problems to do for homework and in front of the class she said "xxx i had better expect to see you do all these problems for next week (thanksgiving break) because if you don't then i will be angry when i grade your test"

Is a teacher allowed to say that he/she "will be angry when [he/she] grade[s]...test[s]"?
Can i report this to the guidance or someone of higher power? The reason i ask is that from what she said, she admits to grading biasedly (which she does). She is the kind of teacher that not only has favorite students but also grades easier for those students. She grades harder for students she doesn't like. IS this fair? She doesn't like me obviously and she gave me a not so good grade last test by taking points off for the stupidest mistakes. The people with lower averages in the class had higher test scores than me on that test (I had an A average last quarter and they had B+'s). I am thinkin that what she said today may have something to do with my low test grade? She can potentially ruin my rank.

Bye-bye Yale.

I am a senior by the way.

Are you serious? I am freaking out right now.

Is this a joke?
…I hate living in the U.S.

Well I wasn’t… but I am now.

^No its not a joke. I am trying to focus on my extracurriculars but this *****ass teacher won’t let me.

Well said.

Okay, settle the **** down. Your teacher isn’t to blame. YOU are to blame. You did not do your homework. So she reprimanded you. Oh booohooo you got what you deserved. Yeah that’s so emotionally damaging, you know what, you shouldn’t just run and tell the guidance counselor, you should also try to sue her.

Seems to be popular nowadays among people who refuse to take responsibility for themselves.

Okay but she gives me the same attitude even when i do do my homework. Out of 7 kids in the class, she only picks on me and guess what? 4/7 kids in the class do not do their homework. She doesn’t give them an attitude. In fact, she grads very nicely for those students.

report that byotch don’t take ■■■ from a.n.y.o.n.e. espc if it will impact your grade

So then do your work, and you won’t get yelled at.
You’re probably annoying in class, which is why she’s so testy with you. Re-evaluate your personality.

So to summarize:

I don’t know what she has against me (it’s more than the homework) but i can assure she is extremely biased!!! Also, should my not doing her homework affect how she grades my tests? That shouldn’t be fair. But she does it anyway. And this is my complaint. I admit that it is my fault for not doing the homework but i can’t accept the fact that she is abusing her power as a teacher.

^ Set up an appointment and nicely talk with her about your concerns. That would be the adult thing to do, instead of complaining. She might have a perspective in the situation that you have missed.

30/31 teachers don’t seem to have had any problems with me.

And? They’re not in your Calculus class. This is a different sample.

mmm don’t listen to musicallylatin it will just **** her off more, go above her head if toy want to accomplish anything

Wanton needs to re-evaluate his personality :D

Just do your homework and study like hell; you can definitely bring up your grade. I brought up my AP Spanish average from a 84.2 to a 92.5. Stop whining and start doing your crap. After all, she can’t grade unfairly if you get every math problem correct, can she?
