I just called UMich's undergraduate office of admissions and I asked if the their Early Action program is still rolling and they said YES.
But im reading on here that it is no longer rolling. The office is supposed to be correct right?

There’s been a few threads about this insofar as whether students can still apply early decision to places such as stanford. If that’s why you’re asking, search for those threads.
My opinion, from what I have read, is that indeed Early Action is rolling. It is also non-binding. The reason that I would view it as rolling is because they will start releasing decisions in early November thru the “final” Early Action notice of Dec. 24th. Because those offers are non-binding, I feel that schools with Early Decision (which is binding) should qualify Michigan as an acceptable co-application. Other posters have gotten this assessment from “the horse’s mouth” at some schools, so if that’s why you’re asking, I feel you’re safe.

We all have a choice: believe what the schools say, or believe what (assumedly) unaffiliated random posters say. We just have to choose!

"While there is no advantage in the review process for completing an application before November 1st, we continue to urge students to submit application materials early for the benefit of receiving a decision quickly. "

The answer to your question is clearly explained at this link (at the admissions website and the tab intended for guidance counselors).[Office of Undergraduate Admissions: Michigan Highlights - June 2010](http://www.admissions.umich.edu/counselors/highlights_june2010.php)
