There's a chance my high school transcripts won't make it to schools by their March 1st deadlines.

I gave myself plenty of time ahead but this week is midwinter break so they won't return until next Monday. Unless they sent them at the end of last week (the day of or after my visit), or send them via overnight mail on Monday, my transcript won't be in by the 1st.

Is there a penalty for tardiness when it doesn't relate to the CommonApp, Supp, or fee?

What I have read is that most schools allow a week or 2 (MAX) slack for reccs or transcripts. Make sure you get the common app submitted on time, and talk to guidnace the 1st day you are back and ask them nicely to expedite your transcript to the schools

Most colleges state that “there isn’t a problem by third-party materials arriving after the deadline, but struggle must be made for them to be sent as soon as possible after March 1.”
