Are the Essay topics for a given date the same throughout the world no matter where u take it in the world or do they change form area to area?

I don't know if I should answer this...... i am kind of giving away the answer as i say this >.>. But If i think what I think you're going to do then DONT do it :).

if they are..why would you NOT write it beforehand and memorize it overnight? I've memorized huge ass essays before, and this one's only like 600-700 words?

Vadox, do you have experience in memorizing SAT essays and is it beneficial because I'm up for the challenge as long as I receive a 12 on my essay? Thanks.

There are always different essay questions...usually 4. I don't know whether the College Board changes them based on region.

But seriously, don't even think about cheating. It's just not worth it. It's not that hard to learn how to write a really good essay. Your efforts are better spent improving your skills than trying to figure out how to game the system.

Plus the essay readers really buy the quick thinking BS you provide to them in the what... 25 minutes, so there's really no need to cheat. Also, just checked my October 2005 test and there were three essay prompts which I bet varies by region because I'm pretty sure after the test we all discussed that we had the same essay prompt, so...

no, i just asked out of curiousity because i though it would be unfair if it were the same essay throughout the world, they should change it to make it fair for everyone!!!!!!!!

Sorry if I jumped on the wrong-assumption-train, collegefreak89.

Yeah, it is the same...

no it's not. I'm sure about that. Different topics for different places.

I had the same topic as someone in the States.

I didn't. On several test dates, I asked people from different countries what their essay topic was and, every person had a different topic.

Because generally there are different versions, but it's not by region..

They wouldnt be the same because people would start memorizing anyways..my experience? For my grade 9 socials final I memorized one 1300 word essay, and (a few weeks later), a 900 word essay. In grade 10- english I memorized another 1000 word essay for a test because the teacher gave us the topic before. For all of them I wrote it and started memorizing the night before

I'd hide pre-written essays in a stack of papers and just pull it out for my history tests after pretending to write. lol.

I though of doing tha, but then i changed my mind becasue my writting generally improved by time so I want to hand in my best work.
