Is this a joke? This might be the most pompous, rich-white-kid, head up your rear, post in the history of an forum. Ever.

Why the f*** should homeless people be nice to you?

Why the f*** should homeless people be nice to you?

^You would say that only if you yourself put homeless people beneath you. It has a very patronizing tone. Also, why are you assuming only rich white kids would be insensitive to homeless people? Your accusation that I'm rich, white, and insensitive are all false. It's also racist and classist. Some of the worst violators of homeless people are non-white inner-city kids.

I think homeless people should be nice to me and I to them for the same reasons that people should be nice to everybody else.

In my experience, Philly homeless are friendly

Of course all people should be nice to eachother.

It's just funny that you have a sense of expectation and entitlement about it. You just proved my point with your response. Look, if they're not nice to you, you can always have one of your Dad's employees shoo them away.

What "sense of expectation and entitlement"? Like I said, and as you just acknowledged with the first sentence in your post (hello?), the only expectation I have of them is to be nice to me for the sole reason that I am a human being just like they are; conversely, I should also be nice to them because they are human just like me. That's it. You're reading too much into the situation and continue to display your patronizing attitude. Do you go to Penn btw?

[quote] Look, if they're not nice to you, you can always have one of your Dad's employees shoo them away.
Look, I have two problems with this statement. 1) You automatically assume that Penn students' dads are absurdly rich and spoil their children and that 2) I have a dad like that. Well, I'm not even a Penn student and no, my did isn't rich or even well-off. He's a factory worker. I'm able to go to one of Penn's peer institutions only because of the generous financial aid. What keeps you coming up with these wild unfounded accusations?
