Are the practice tests in the blue book harder than the real one?

<p>They are very close to the real thing. Maybe a bit trickier in some respect, since I never got close to my real results on them (1 wrong in CR and M)</p>

<p>No. They aren't. I did fabulously on BB's tests and not-so-well on the real ones.</p>

the average of my 8 practise test-scores was my real SAT score..(2040)</p>

<p>a friend of mine was scoring high 1800s on the bb tests and got 2000 something on the real one. another friend of mine was getting 2000 on bb and got 1560 on real. so i am confused</p>

<p>I think the bb tests are not as hard as the real ones, especially recent released ones... and the reading passages are not that hard</p>

<p>i dont know why u're expecting this lol. what you should think is that the real test is actually harder, so u can expect ur scores be a lil lower than BB's =D
thats what i think, because u 'll hav pressure on that test day,so expect things to go wrong a lil.</p>

yeah i guess....
there's not really an answer to your question, some people might think it's harder, some people might think it's easier. so our only reliable source is collegeboard, that claims that these tests are very accurate (actually, did they even say that?)
don't worry about it, just think the real one is harder</p>

<p>I hear and sort of agree that the reading passages in the blue book are actually more difficult than the ones on the real SAT. But of course, like people have mentioned above, everything is going to seem harder on the real test because it is the "REAL TEST" haha.. a lot more pressure, and you have to take it 3 hours and 45 minutes with only two 5 minute breaks. so the whole situation makes things tougher.</p>

<p>when i did practice tests in the blue book, i didn't do so good. but taking the actual one, my score was higher than anything i had ever gotten.</p>
