Are the scores accurate?

Hey guys, I am a junior and took the SAT for the first time in January this year. I just went in blank with no prep whatsoever. I got a 1700 which was alright I guess. But I have been checking score conversions on several websites and they are way off.

SAT:

Math: I got 43 correct and missed 11. I got a score of 620
Writing: Got an 8 on the essay and got 32 correct. I got a score here of 530
Reading: I got 44 right and missed 22 = 550

On the writing section, a raw score of 27.75 + 16 for the essay giving me a score of 44 which is 570-610 as well on my PR book and many other sites.

I am sorry if I am being redundant.

You have to know that the Maths section’s curve is very harsh, Hence a score of 620. Anyway 11 wrong answer is too much to aim at anything else.

Writing section has a harsh curve as well. So 530 is quite obvious. Multiple-Choice questions can be very tricky though.

You have a bad score in CR even though the curve is not as harsh as those of the previous sections. Basically you failed an entire section out of three.

You might take a glance at the conversion tables on the BB, which are, of course, quite representative of the real test.

So, Yes your score is representative of your performance unless you made careless mistakes while gridding.

Sorry if there are misspellings (Non-native speaker)

Also keep in mind that your score is dependent on how everyone else preformed.
