are there any advantages/disadvantages from graduating in the fall vs spring?

I've been in school for over 4 years so I'm ready to get out
I can graduate in the fall but is it wise to do so?

Will there be less competition for full time positions since most college students graduate in the spring? But what about the annual training which takes place during the summer geared towards spring grads? Will it affect my competitiveness or do employers not really care when you graduate?

I can gain more experience by staying in school until spring but I want to get out in the real world. I plan to attend the fall career fair

There are more career fairs (fall ones) and interviews set up for spring graduates, as that is the "norm," but if you're ready to graduate in fall I personally don't see the reason to stay in school longer. You can look for jobs and work if needed in the meantime, but save the uneeded tuition money.

This is also a good question for your career center.

you don't want to leave school without a full time offer. it's really puts you on a more difficult platform..if you don't mind, what's your major, career goal and school(or give an idea)
