The school I’m planning to attend still hasn’t sent me a housing contract. When I contacted them about when the contract will be sent, they gave me a response saying “We continue to offer housing contracts and will do so throughout the summer as we receive contract cancellations”. I’m assume this means that housing is full and when space becomes available, they might offer me housing. This has made me worry that I won’t get a spot living on-campus. My mom won’t allow me to attend the school if I don’t get on-campus housing. Does anyone have a suggestions of places I could apply to, just in case I don’t get a housing contract?
There is a university approved apartment building at your college – do they have space? Sorry you have run into this roadblock!
There’s a waiting list for the apartment, so that wouldn’t work. Here’s the weird thing. My college is listed on the NACAC list and the list says that they still have housing available… My theory is that maybe my first choice dorm is unavailable so there’s a delay in sending the contract.
