Are there any education majors here?

It seems like there really aren’t any non-STEM majors on here. I’m am early childhood/childhood education major (birth-6)

Just wanted to find a place to talk/vent lol

Hey, I graduated last year with English 7-12. Venting is the only way to survive

Lol, I’m a non-STEM major. Actually, my second major is Religious Studies, which is about as un-STEM as once can possibly get.

I started in elementary education and recently switched to linguistics. So…still non-STEM. Unless I decide to go with computational linguistics. Then it’s kind of STEM.

Don’t sweat being in a different major - the world would be a strange place if everyone went into STEM careers.

I have nothing wrong with not being stem, my mind doesn’t work that way lol. But it seems like on here that’s what everyone’s doing.

I’m thinking linguistics for my masters (required within 5 yrs in my state)

Venting is the only way to make it through! My advisor screwed me over and now for the fall I’m at 22 credits, becuase I can’t take classes during student teaching… and that’s with 2 summer classes I just finished
