I know it's a little late, but I missed out on all the competitive programs like MITES and Clark Scholars. I want to attend a competitive summer program, if there are any left. If not, then I am looking for a science summer program. I have already looked into the Brown Pre-College programs and they seem nice, but not the best. I am really interested into Chemistry and Astrophysics so something in those subjects would be nice. At the same time, I also want to impress colleges. I am currently a junior with a 4.0 GPA and a minority (Asian). Please state the length, location, and experiences with the programs. Thanks!

bump for the night

Well, one, please don’t bump threads after only 30 minutes. CC isn’t that big of a community.

Two, you could try SAMS ([related thread](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/summer-programs/1078089-sams-cmu.html)), [USHSP[/url]. See [url=http://www.bu.edu/summer/high-school-programs/research-internship/]Boston University’s research program](High School Honors Science, Math and Engineering Program - High School Honors Science, Math and Engineering Program), [Stony Brook’s](High School Students), and [UC Davis’ program](<a href=“Young Scholars Program - UC Davis School of Education”>http://ysp.ucdavis.edu/).

There is a pretty good listing of programs in which you may be interested at [this link](http://people.rit.edu/gtfsbi/Symp/highschool.htm).
