are there any really cool, out of the ordinary classes at UF?

I know the honors programs have some “out of the ordinary classes.” You dont have to be in the honors program to take them. There are two options: talk to the honors adviser to see if they will allow you to sign up for it or wait till the end of drop/add and if there are seats available, then you can add it.

Classes include: Magic and Witchcraft, Spirituality and the Health Sciences, Age of the Blockbuster, Chick Lit: Junk or Genre?, Icelandic Sagas: The Sword and the Cross, (Immigration, Race, Gender and Ethnicity in American Culture), (Seafarers, Sultans, Slaves and Spices: The Indian Ocean in Antiquity), The Tao of Star Trek, etc.
