Are there any scholarship if your already in college?

Are most of the scholarships for first year students or are there any scholarships if your an upperclassmen in college?

yea there are lots of them. go to www.fastweb.com and fill out all of the registration info. it asks what year you are (high school or college), your GPA, test scores, major etc and finds scholarships based on that info. Sometimes you get a couple that you aren't eligible for but in general it's a pretty good service. oh...and it's free.

My son plans to apply for several we found through fastweb. Also be sure to check with your college. They may have some scholarships just for already-enrolled students--I noticed my son's school does, and he will certainly be trying for them.

Yes, ask then ask again at your college.
Our son won a $1000 scholarship Spring semester freshman year.
All he had to do was ask a few people in his dept and the FA office at his school to be considered for any merit awards that he might qualify for. There was no application or essay; the check just showed up!
I guess they just consider all the plausible candidates for existing scholarships and make a decision.

There are plenty of them.
